We tried one sack from the Sampler so far. Simple instructions and well timed, however, we stuck them in the freezer upon arrival.
Honestly, when the peanuts were done to our softness, it took an additional 12 hours to cook right out of the freezer. And the flavor sachet was perfectly seasoned. Thanks much.

I bought the pack of 4. Also purchase them every Christmas for my kids. My only suggestion would be to add more of the cards with directions on cooking. I would like to include 1 card with each bag I give away. I gave my daughter a bag but told her I would make a copy of the way to cook them.

I grew up in Georgia and had family in Tennessee who I would visit every few months and every summer. One thing that was a must was boiled peanuts. We would get them at corner markers, flea markets, small mom and pop shops, etc. I'm so excited that this southern staple has finally been shared around the country and finally getting the attention it deserves. I grew up in north Carolina and as a family we always enjoyed boil peanuts time of year. I now live in michigan and this was a great way to share that tradition with my family as well! We got the sample pack and started with the Cajun bag. Now we do like em a bit more seasoned but they were great just as they were! Can't wait to try the others! Would definitely recommend!

I've had the Cajun and Original and both have been well seasoned. My only complaint is the Cajun should have more kick for that title, I'll be sure to spice it up a little more next time.

All the flavors are seasoned perfectly! I use the instapot method and let them sit for about 4 hours in the brine after. Perfect everytime! Transfer to the crock pot and keep on warm.

I grew up in the deep South, in Central Mississippi, so I grew up raising and eating lots of boiled peanuts. My favorite time was August September peanut harvest and boiling fresh green peanuts! So Honestly, I was very leery buying the first (4) sampler pack... But man I was totally surprised by the quality, size, and flavor of the Boil the Bag Peanuts!! I stove topped till a rolling boil the6 dumped them in my crock pot for 12 hrs , oh my goodness YUMMY!
It had been awhile since I found any peanuts worth boiling.

This was truly a trip down memory lane! I had my first taste of boiled peanuts when I was around 10 years old living in central Florida. It was love at first taste. 50 years later I am living in Texas and was only able to find boiled peanuts in a can until a friend told me about these boil in a bag kits. I figured they were worth a shot and bought the sampler kit. First kit to boil was the Original flavor and I have to say that I was blown away! The flavor, the texture, the freshness, everything was as I remembered it so many years ago. No more mushy, soggy boiled peanuts out of a can for me. These are the real deal.

Great value for price!! So far I’ve only tried the original flavor from the smaller pack but they are delicious! Cooked for 10 hours on high in my crockpot and then 4 hours on low. Perfect texture and flavor. So good reminds me of my days living on Oahu, Hawaii!
